The ruler is marked in inches. I couldn’t make myself lay it any closer to that dead thing.

Only 25 books so far this year. I’ve been checking a lot of books out of the library and returning them unread — too busy to read, and then too tired to read anything that requires concentration.

Looking at my tags by year, I can see that a lot of the books I read in earlier years are missing. I think I’ll try to add them as I remember them. Getting the years right will be almost impossible. Heh heh. “You couldn’t have read that book in 2002! It came out in 2005!”
